Service Scope
Orion Mining Pool provides stratum mining ports, public pool statistics, miner dashboards, custodial balances, referral accounting, and manually controlled payout operations for supported coins.
Supported coins, algorithms, ports, payout schemes, and availability may change as wallets sync, MiningCore support is added, or maintenance requires temporary shutdowns.
Mining And Reward Risk
Mining is probabilistic. A connected miner is not guaranteed to find a block, earn a payout, or recover electricity or hardware costs. Solo mining carries especially high variance.
Blocks may become orphaned, rejected, stale, immature, delayed, or invalid because of network conditions, wallet issues, chain reorganizations, or software failures.
Payout Policy
Each coin has an owner-controlled minimum payout. Miners may choose higher personal payout thresholds from the dashboard, but cannot set a threshold below the pool minimum.
Withdrawals are currently manual approval flows. Payouts may be delayed during wallet sync, wallet maintenance, chain congestion, insufficient confirmations, node errors, or security review.
Fees And Referrals
The pool fee is displayed on the website and may be changed by the owner. Referral discounts are calculated from referred mining volume over the configured rolling window and are capped by the current referral program settings.
Referral relationships do not expire automatically, but the discount calculation uses the configured volume window.
Custody Policy
Orion may assign internal custody addresses per user and coin. Balances shown in the dashboard are Orion accounting records backed by pool wallet operations. Miners remain responsible for verifying their payout addresses before requesting withdrawals.
Incorrect destination addresses, incompatible address formats, or transactions confirmed on-chain may not be recoverable.
Accounts And Security
Miners are responsible for protecting their passwords, devices, dashboards, wallet addresses, and mining hardware. Orion may suspend accounts, miners, workers, or withdrawals during abuse investigations or security events.
Acceptable Use
Do not attack the pool, abuse APIs, submit fraudulent data, exploit referral logic, interfere with other miners, mine from unauthorized systems, or attempt to bypass payout, fee, wallet, or security controls.
Maintenance
The pool may restart services, clear logs, update wallets, change stratum ports, disable coins, or pause payouts during maintenance. Orion aims to preserve transparency, but uptime is not guaranteed.
Exchange And Conversion Features
Exchange integrations may be used for quoting, balances, or future conversions. Actual conversion execution may remain manual until reserve, liquidity, and risk controls are enabled.
Changes
These policies may be updated as Orion adds coins, exchanges, payout automation, account features, or compliance controls. Continued use of the pool means you accept the current published policies.
